Communication is very important in any organization. Silver Glen has many avenues to accomplish this goal. We have bulletin boards in every building lobby and elevator for posting of announcements. The communications committee produces the Silver Bulletin every month. It contains articles of interest, announcements, stories, poems and a monthly calendar of events/activities. The Board meets once a month in open session. A town-meeting is held at the end for member inputs, questions and gripes. Channel 21 (an in-house cable channel) on the Comcast TV cable network provides announcements of interest and importance in a more real-time manner. A member posts items on the channel with much vigor and dedication. And then there is always word-of-mouth and rumors to keep members informed.
